Miss Virginia United States Pageants Official Rules & Conditions:


1. MISS DIVISION-AGES 20-28, TEEN DIVISION-AGES 16-19, JUNIOR TEEN DIVISION-AGES 13-15.

2. Is single, not married, has never been married.

3. Has never posed nude in film or print media.

4. Is a natural born female.

5. Has never given birth.

6. Is a resident, attends school or is of a military family in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

7. Is a citizen of the United States, by proof of a birth certificate or naturalization document.

JUDGES PERSONAL INTERVIEW (25%)

The judges personal interview is a very special opportunity for the delegate to represent themselves as an individual and show their personality. Each delegate will have 5 (five) minutes of interview time. It will be a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere where the judges will get to know you better.

STAGE COMPETITION

OPENING OF THE EVENT: 

1. ON STAGE QUESTION:  (25% one question)

SWIMSUIT COMPETITION: (25%)

MISS, TEEN and JUNIOR TEEN: One piece or two piece your personal choice. The suit must be a solid color. No prints or strings.

If you have any body modifications such as tattooing or piercing (other than one set of earrings) please cover with make-up or remove.

***Please remember that the swimsuit competition is about your athletic fitness, posture, grace and the way you walk and present yourself.

EVENING GOWN COMPETITION: (25%)

 The evening gown should be full length (a Gown touches the floor in some way when you are in your shoes!!!) and represent your individual taste in style and color. Just be beautiful, elegant and brilliant. This competition is about beauty, glamour, posture and confidence. Gloves are allowed if the delegate chooses.

MISS CONGENIALITY :

The delegate themselves will vote on the one delegate they felt was the most friendly, pleasant, helpful, kind, charming and their most favorite delegate in the contest. The majority of votes will determine the winner. Ballots are to be returned after the final rehearsal.
